INNO-BIZ Association establishes a bridgehead for technological innovation SMEs to enter Eastern Europe(JS-ON Participated)

The Ministry of SMEs and Venture Enterprises (Minister Lee Young) and the Inno-Biz Association (Small and Medium Business Technology Innovation Association, Chairman Lim Byung-hun) held the "2022 Korea-Hungary Technology Exchange Consultation" in Budapest, Hungary (local time) on the 29th to develop overseas sales channels and promote exports of domestic technological innovation SMEs.

The association has been operating consultation meetings only non-face-to-face since the COVID-19 pandemic, but due to the recent relaxation of quarantine guidelines, online and offline consultation meetings have been operated in parallel since last August.

Hungary, along with Poland and Slovakia, is one of the three major export markets in Central and Eastern Europe, and has an excellent foundation of cooperation in promising industries such as future cars and biotechnology, and the association will promote technical exchanges with Hungary for the first time this year to support domestic technological innovation companies to enter Eastern Europe.

Five domestic technological innovation companies with technologies such as autonomous vehicle camera-related manufacturing technology and high-frequency stimulator manufacturing technology participated in this meeting, and through a total of 19 exchanges with local companies, they had time to discuss various cooperation plans through technology media, such as technology export, parts and equipment export, and the establishment of joint ventures.

J.S.On, CEO of JSON (High Frequency Stimulator Manufacturing Technology), who participated in the consultation, said, "We conducted consultations with suitable partners through this Hungarian Technology Exchange Consultation, and based on this, we will continue to make efforts to enter the European market through our innovative technologies that have received CE certification."

Sejong Kim, director of the Inno-Biz Policy Research Institute, said, "Based on this Hungarian Technology Exchange Consultation, we have laid the foundation for Korean SMEs with excellent technology to open up export routes in Eastern Europe."
